It’s full steam ahead as the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago debuts their newest exhibit, Let’s Play Railway. Opening for previews on September 27, 2008, the exhibit will have a grand opening on October 7 and run through May 4, 2009.

The Glenview Education Foundation (GEF) and Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago recently announced a partnership to provide a free 5-week summer camp program for 20 Glenview children to help prepare them for stronger achievement in school.

3rd ANNUAL "TOUCH A TRUCK" FAMILY FESTIVAL RAISES $28,000 FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AT KOHL CHILDREN'S MUSEUM (.pdf file)
More than 1,500 parents and their children safely explored an array of full-size vehicles at the 3rd annual "Touch-A-Truck" family festival presented by the Women's Board of Kohl Children's Museum. The festival, held May 4 at Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Northfield, Ill., raised $28,000 which is earmarked for educational programming at the Museum.

Kohl Children's Museum of Greater Chicago will celebrate the life and art of legendary 20th century artist Marc Chagall with a multi-sensory, interactive exhibit Chagall for Children June 10 – August 31, 2008. The hands-on and interactive exhibit, specifically designed for children up to age 8, features 14 multi-sensory exploration stations, each incorporating a high-quality reproduction of one of Chagall's works.
