Kohl Council members are parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, teachers, community leaders, philanthropists and advocates for young children who support the Museum with an annual gift of $1,000 or more. All donations to Kohl Children’s Museum directly impact families with young children.

Here are some programs that your support can provide when you join Kohl Council:
- A Kohl Council Membership sends KCM’s mobile learning lab to an underserved community for one day.
- Kohl Explorers provide one month of supplies for innovative STEAM programs like Science Sleuths and Tinkering.
- Kohl Educators fund 1,000 learning kits for children that face the greatest academic challenges.
- Kohl Innovators grant museum access for 150 families through Museums for All.
- Kohl Funders give 600 children with disabilities—and their families—free, exclusive KCM access during Everyone at Play events.
- Kohl Society Members allow seven Chicago-area teachers to participate in Early Childhood Connections, a renowned teacher training program.

Monthly Giving
- Scheduling a monthly gift is an easy way to spread your contribution over the entire year. Support the Museum all year long, and receive benefits at the total level of your annual support!
Matching Gifts
- Check with your company regarding matching gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations like Kohl Children’s Museum and double your impact. If your company has a matching gift program, contact your human resources department for a matching gift form.
Gifts of Stock or Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
- Make a stock transfer or gift through your DAF. For information, call 847-832-6895.
